Eufaula Carnegie Library patrons and others can learn about the library's new Hoopla app to download eBooks and movies at training scheduled for late August and September.
Hoopla provides online and mobile access to eBooks, movies and television, and music. Eufaula Carnegie patrons can download the Hoopla app to their Android or IOS device (smartphone or tablet) to create accounts and begin borrowing items from the Hoopla digital library
The workshops for those wishing to learn more about Hoopla are scheduled as follows:
Saturday, August 25, 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, September 11, 12:00 noon
Thursday, September 20, 6:30 p.m.
Prior registration for the workshops is not required, but those attending will first need to get library cards if they don't have them. They might also download the free Hoopla app onto their tablets, e-readers, or smartphones. A link to the Hoopla database is available from the library’s website, www.ecl.lib.al.us, or the app may be downloaded from the App store or iTunes.
