The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake Eufaula is a positive place for kids. Our club is a community-based organization that provides young people with a fun, safe and constructive after-school environment. Clubs are open to all youth ages 6-18 and have a special focus on children from challenging or disadvantaged circumstances. We keep our dues low and do not turn kids away because of an inability to pay. Through a system of informal guidance, Club staff from strong bonds with young people and help them make smart choices in their lives. Our goal is to make safe, structured out-of-school programming accessible to all children in the surrounding areas.
Our clubs’ five basic programming areas are the Arts, Character and Leadership Development, Sports/Fitness and recreation, Education/Career and Health/Life Skills.
With three locations, our clubs serve more than 230 youth each day. Clubs are located on Sanford Avenue, Chattahoochee Courts and Abbeville in Henry County. For over 10 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake Eufaula have engaged youth in a positive, safe and enriching environment. Our focus on programming continues to help youth develop a positive self-identity, educational competencies and values enabling them to develop positive relationships with others.
Our vision is to provide a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle.
Our formula begins with the young people in Clubs – especially those who needs us most. It calls for us to consistently provide the most powerful Club experience possible – by offering high-yield activities and providing targeted programs – all of which help youth achieve priority outcomes. Then, because we also know that attending the Club more frequently and over a greater length of time makes young people more like to achieve positive outcomes, we continue to pursue strategies to increase attendance, program participation, member retention and stronger collaborations throughout the community.
