Local Business Spotlight: Eufaula Staffing

Eufaula Staffing has one goal in mind each and every day: put people to work.

Kathy Wright manages the day-to-day operations of the office and says Eufaula Staffing serves as a bridge between potential employees and possible future careers.

“We are temporary employment agency,” said Wright. “Our goal is to help people find jobs and get people to work. Potential employees come here to fill out applications and we immediately get them in the system to attempt to pair them with a job.”

According to the Alabama Department of Labor, Barbour County’s unemployment rate is 6.1 percent (as of August 2017).  The rate is dramatically lower than the August 2016 number of 9.4 percent, but is still higher than neighboring counties.

To keep the number trending the right direction, Eufaula Staffing works every day to let the public know there are jobs available right here in the area.

“No one wants to travel out of town to work,” said Lindsay Woodruff. “There are jobs available here in Eufaula and in the county. We focus on putting people to work here locally, but sometimes it’s not as easy as it seems. Our goal is to place them in the area, so the benefits of their job stay local.”

If you or someone you know is looking for work, contact Eufaula Staffing at (334) 687-0100 or visit their office at 110 E. Broad Street in Eufaula. Eufaula Staffing works with numerous local employers, including positions in clerical, industrial, construction and other areas, and has been a part of the community for more than 20 years.
