Local Business Spotlight: Quality Inn and Suites

Perched atop the bluff on Eufaula’s eastern edge, Quality Inn and Suites is the first sight the many visitors see upon crossing the state line and Chattahoochee River.

The property on East Barbour Street has gone through a few different names and brands in the last 50 years, but Quality Inn and Suites says it is here to stay.

Quality Inn and Suites, a member of the Choice Hotels family, established itself at the historic location on the bluff a little less than a decade ago. Through multiple renovations and improvements – including an ongoing renovation to add nine new suites and updating furniture – the chain has invested itself in to the community.

“Quality Inn has been on this location for about seven years, and there has been a hotel here since 1968,” Eufaula General Manger Gina Crenshaw said. “We have built our reputation on our ‘Quality Stay,’ and make sure our customers are happy. We are in the middle of remodel and are expecting an almost-new property in the coming months.”

Crenshaw says the top thing guests at the property rave about is the location itself.

Quality Inn is less than a mile from the heart of the Seth Lore and Irwinton Historic District and sits directly adjacent to Lake Eufaula and the Earnest Vandiver Causeway.

“We are the only lake-view property where you can get a room and overlook the lake here in Eufaula,” said Crenshaw. “We get lots of compliments on the sunrise and the view of the bridge as well. Quality is also the closest hotel to the historic district, so our guests can walk downtown. We love our location and guests do too.”

While on the road, travelers look for trusted brands, and visitors to Eufaula can rest easy knowing Quality Inn and Suites has them covered.

“Quality is affordable for families,” Crenshaw said. “Every stay includes our hot deluxe breakfast and more amenities for groups and travelers. Our brand has built a reputation across the country for providing a comfortable stay, and we do our best here to keep that reputation going in Eufaula.”

Crenshaw wants every guest to feel right at home and makes sure her staff goes above and beyond to fulfill the needs of each person that comes through the door.

“My guests are my family,” said Crenshaw with a smile. “I want them to feel as if this was there home. Ninety percent of our guests are repeat customers from the last seven years. That rate is due to our staff making sure the needs of the guests come first. This is their home on the road.”
